Clark County BLM Project

blmThe Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is responsible for carrying out a variety of programs for the management and conservation of resources on public lands. The BLM administers nearly 48 million acres of public land in Nevada. BLM public lands make up about 67 percent of Nevada's land base. Public lands provide significant economic benefits to the states in which they are located.

SSPO administers the project Sediment Transport to White-Margined Penstemon Habitat that establishes ideal measurement sites in the Mojave Desert to characterize the regional wind flow and the frequency and magnitude of sand transport events in the area .
