Workshop Description:
Nevada Program Directors from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Experimental Programs to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) will present helpful information in preparation of competitive NSF and NASA proposals. The topic of the workshop will be responding to requests for proposals from NSF and NASA.
In addition to NSF and NASA program directors, the workshop will be led by Roger Kreidberg, DRI's science support editor, and will include two panel sessions. Panelists will include former NSF and NASA program managers as well as NSHE faculty who have been successful in obtaining and managing NSF and NASA awards. A second panel will include experts in NSF and NASA program requirements who will be available to answer specific questions regarding proposal submission.
Who Should Attend?
Faculty members within the Nevada System of Higher Education, including UNLV, UNR, DRI, NSC, and community colleges, who are interested in obtaining EPSCoR funds through NSF and NASA. Participants registering for this workshop at either Reno or Las Vegas location may be eligible for a travel subsidy if traveling a distance of 150 miles or greater.
