Special room rates have been arranged at the Silver Legacy Resort•Casino in downtown Reno for the Symposium and for the weekend immediately following the conference for those participants who want to enjoy a few more days in the Reno-Tahoe area.
- Deluxe room Monday — Thursday: $59 for single/double occupancy
- Deluxe room Friday and Saturday: $89 for single/double occupancy
All rates are subject to Washoe County room tax and a $3.41 per room, per night resort fee. The resort fee provides guests round trip shuttle to the airport, covered valet and self-parking, and unlimited local phone calls.
Hotel room reservations should be made immediately to qualify for the special room rate. Hotel reservations received after Monday, October 5 will only be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Deposit/payment on guest rooms
Guests are responsible for submitting a first night’s deposit by cash or credit card to the hotel at the time they make their reservations. They are responsible for their own guestroom charges, room tax, resort fee and incidental charges.
Cancellation Policy
Individual cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty. In the event of individual cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival (including no-shows), first night’s room and tax will be assessed.
Check in and checkout
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Guests who wish to depart later can store their luggage at the bell desk located at the front desk lobby.
Health Club
Complimentary health club access is available to all Symposium attendees.
Silver Legacy Airport Shuttle and Parking
The Silver Legacy offers daily airport shuttle service from 5:00 a.m. — 12 midnight. It picks up at the airport every 60 minutes on the half hour and leaves the hotel every 60 minutes on the hour. No reservation is necessary. The Reno Tahoe International Airport is only a 12-15 minute drive from the hotel.
Valet parking and self-parking in the 10-story garage are available. The Silver Legacy is easily accessible from both highways 395 and interstate 80. The hotel’s large tower can be seen upon approach from any direction.
