Welcome to My Home Page! I am an Associate Professor
in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I am
also the coauthor of a book on statistical modeling titled Introduction
to Regression Analysis. I hope that you can find
information related to my research, teaching and other interests. My main research areas are in
statistical multiple decision theory, sequential methods, sampling theory,
nonparametric statistical methods and clinical trials. In particular, my
interests involve in the development of those methodologies on applications. Besides statistical problems,
I am also interested in the areas of numerical methods and boundary value
problems, methods of fundamental solutions (MFS), radial basis functions
(RBF) and their applications in Statistics or the application of partial
