Q: I have my password, but I can't login. Why not?
A: There are a number of reasons why this may be happening. You may be using the wrong password, the wrong username, or your computer may be set to not accept "cookies".
Wrong password - You may be using the wrong password.
You must use the password provided to you by the CRJ Laboratory
Website.
To have your password sent to you again click here.
Wrong username - Sometimes people type in the wrong
username when they login. For example, you may have multiple email
accounts and have registered with an email address/username from
one account, but are trying to login with the email address/username
from a different account. You must use the email address/username
you registered with.
To make sure you are using the right username, have your
password resent to you. If you get a message that
says "We were unable to locate any registration information
for the Username entered" then you are using an invalid username.
Your computer is set to not accept "cookies" - When you login, "cookies" are sent to the computer you are using telling it that you are logged in, and allowing you to use the site. However, your computer must be set to allow "cookies" to be sent.
To allow cookies to be sent to your computer, you need to change the settings on your web-browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Netscape). The settings can be accessed by going to the "PREFERENCES" or "SETTINGS" section on your web-browser.
If you can't figure out how to change the settings on your browser, try logging in on a different computer. There are many computers available for public use on the UNLV campus (such as in the Lied Library) that are configured to allow cookies to be sent. If you have tried logging in on multiple machines and continue to have problems, please contact the CRJ Lab Supervisor at (702) 895-0206.
Q: What are "cookies"?
A: Cookies are commands that allow information to be sent back and forth between your computer and a website. Only information regarding your login information will be sent. No personal information is exchanged.
