The 4-1/2 mile long area known as the “Strip” is jammed-packed with themed hotels and resort casinos, places to gamble the night away, any kind of restaurant imaginable and every type of entertainment. There are many things to do in Las Vegas that will keep anyone busy around the clock. When traveling to Las Vegas for the first time, you might be surprised at all of the things to do in Las Vegas. Most people who have never visited the city before thinks that Las Vegas is mostly a place for adults to play poker, roulette, craps, blackjack and slot machines. Also, most people think of Las Vegas as a place where there is only adult entertainment. While this is true, there are many more things to do in Las Vegas. Almost any age can visit this city and find something to fit their taste. Not interested in gambling? That is not a problem when you visit Las Vegas. If your spouse likes to gamble, but you prefer shopping, Las Vegas will not disappoint. Almost every hotel on the Strip offers some sort of unique shopping experience. There are complete malls in some hotels, while other offer small boutique shopping. You can also find other things to do in Las Vegas that are not related to gambling. Most hotels have beautiful pools complete with drink and towel services. Or, maybe you want to experience a little culture while staying in Las Vegas. You can visit the Guggenheim Museum, see Egyptian artifacts and visit Madame Tussaud’s museum. Maybe you can take in a show and see a wide variety of famous celebrities, magicians, comedians or even flying acrobats.
