ABOUT ME !

Hello and God Bless!  This is my fifth year teaching at CSN.  My teaching philosophy is that ANYONE can understand Math with the proper instruction and if the student puts in the proper time to study outside of class. Here's a couple of interesting facts about me. I have been married three years now to my beautiful Korean wife, Ji-Young.  I  play bongos, congas, and other percussion items once a month at my church, The Crossing.  I am pursuing a Masters in Higher Education Leadership at UNLV, and should finish in about 3 to 4 years. In addition I have a folding bicycle in the trunk of my car so I am always ready to ride!

As far as religion goes, yes I am a Christian.  Here is something crazy that happened to me while riding my bike on the UNLV campus. I had been praying that God would show me the power of prayer, and I needed assurance that he was real and that he heard me.  I felt I had to go to the reflecting pond on campus. Upon arriving to the pond,  there was a bible sitting open on a ledge!  No one else was around. I walked up to it and on that open page, there was scripture verse underlined in red - the only one underlined.  It was from Psalms 66: 18-20 which reads, "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but  God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.  Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me." That bible had been sitting there for several hours, and the wind could have blown those pages around, but I believe God had something special to say to me that day. God has something special to say to you too, if you let him. Have you wanted to go to church for a while but just haven't done it yet?
