Job Description
 

As the biologist, your primary responsibility  is to research and
find out information about the various plant and
animal life unique to this country.

Questions to Consider:
 

• What is the animal life of Australia like?
• What types of animals live in Australia?
• Where are the animals located?  (the Outback, near the coast?)
• What do the animals look like?
• Are there any characteristics of the animals that make them unique to the country?  How are they different than other animals around the world?
• How mothers care for their young?
• What do the animals eat?  Are they herbivores (plant eaters), carnivores (meat eaters), or omnivores (plant and animal eaters)?
• Are the animals endangered or protected?
• What are the animal's natural enemies?  How do they protect themselves?
• What types of plants grow in Australia?
• Where are the plants located?
• What do the plants look like?
