Prerequisite: Grade of C or above in MAT 182

Catalog description: "Introduction to linear algebra, including matrices and linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors."

Quizzes: There will be a quiz every week. Questions will be based predominantly on homework problems. There will be no make-up quizzes. In compensation, the lowest quiz score will be dropped.

Homework: A preliminary list of homework problems is on the class webpage. Additional problems will be added later. You are expected to be able to solve these and similar problems; however, homework will not be collected or graded.

Make-up Policy: Excused absences from tests are not usually granted. If you will be observing a religious holiday, contact me as soon as possible, preferably in the first week of the semester. See University Regulations for details. If you contract a major illness or have any other sudden catastrophe, please contact me ASAP; appropriate written documentation must be provided for consideration.

Midterm Exam: Tentative date: June 19(regular class time).

Final Exam: Thursday, July 2 (regular class time)
