TEXTBOOK: We will be using the 3rd edition of Math and Dosage Calculations for Health Care by Booth and Whaley. This 3rd edition will be available in the ANY of the CSN bookstores prior to the beginning of the semester. You may also order the textbook online at http://www.efollett.com/ and pick it up at any of the CSN Bookstores, or purchase it online at http://www.half.ebay.com/textbooks - search for ISBN 978-0-07-729049-8.

MATH 120-D01, D02 & D03

TEXTBOOK: We will be using the first edition of WHEN ARE WE EVER GOING TO USE THIS STUFF? by Matovina & Yates. You can order a black & white, spiral bound version of the book for less than $20 through the CSN bookstore (at www.efollet.com) or you can actually access the full-color version of the book for free by following the above link. 

If you go directly to the online version and attempt to print the entire 308-page book, it will likely cost you more than $20 in paper, ink, and a binder.  Thus, if you want a hard copy and do not mind it being B&W, it may be cheaper to order it through the bookstore. Also, please be aware that, since we are selling the book at such a low price (which is actually the cost for us to print & bind them), the bookstore will not be buying any of them back at the end of the term.

MATH 127-D02, Spring 2010

TEXTBOOK: Precalculus: Concepts Through Functions, by Sullivan & Sullivan, ISBN 0-13-187476-4.

Purchasing a "physical" textbook is optional.  This course will utilize the CourseCompass/MyMathLab course management system available through Peason Education, which contains an online version of the book. However, if you decide you cannot live without a "physical" textbook, you can purchase it online or at any CSN  bookstore.

If you do not purchase a physical textbook (or buy a used one), you still MUST purchase an access code for CourseCompass/MyMathLab.  For book purchases in the bookstore, it is cheaper to buy a new textbook that is already bundled with an access code for CourseCompass/MyMathLab than it is to buy a used book and an access code, seperately.

If you do not wish to buy a textbook or access code from the CSN bookstore, you can purchase an access code directly from Pearson Education at http://www.coursecompass.com/html/student_buy_access.html.

Once you have an access code, you must register for the course at http://www.coursecompass.com/html/student_register.html. The Course ID for this course is matovina93777.
