The
Process
After
you have read Johnny Tremain, either independently or together
as a class, you will begin the WebQuest activities:

First you'll be assigned
to a team of 4 students.

Within your team you
will decide who will fill each of the four roles outlined below.
Click on the
role you have chosen to read the instructions and find your resources:
When all four group
members have completed their research, you will meet to discuss your findings.

Each group
member will give a report to the rest of the committee.

The committee
will evaluate the findings and come to a decision about the novel.
The key question you will answer is: Was the book historically accurate?

The group will create a PowerPoint or HyperStudio presentation
with which they will present their findings to the rest of the class:

The presentation will include a title slide or card and an introductory
slide which presents the conclusion arrived at by the group.

Each group member will create at least one slide or card which presents
the evidence that they found during their individual research.

Together the group will create a concluding slide or card on which they
restate their conclusions and give reasons why they arrived at their decision.
